Whether as parents, family member or friends of a DPG child, we all know and understand the importance of communication and working together for the sake of our child. The statement "my brother's keeper" took on a whole new meaning for me after Marc was diagnosed.
I realized that there was information out there and there are people who want to share their information, their ideas, and their hopes. Therefore, the three "blogs" that we as a foundation recommend are: (1) Yahoo DIPG Group, (2) the CancerCompass Message Board, and (3) the Google DIPG Group.
In our effort to try to keep you updated on the most recent information and to introduce you to other DPG families (but especially to continue to grow our DPG family in a collaborated effort in the spirit of camaraderie) we want to keep you as close to the activity as possible.
Through our own independent research, these three sites appear to have the highest activity and the parents are all so willing to offer all the information and assistance they possibly can. You will find they have each taken on the responsibly of being their "brother's keeper".
Hope you find comfort and help.
